An entrepreneur is a person who posses new enterprise, venture or idea and ability to take risks. Entrepreneurship is all about finding inefficiency in market and removing it by generating an idea. Roles of entrepreneurs are taking risk, doing hard work to reach success, adepting quickly to change according to the change in technology, selecting best people according to the job.
Benefits of entrepreneurship over job:
- You can become wealthy at young age.
- Have freedom to control direction of your company.
- Can start similar other company.
- You make money when you even sleep because your workers are working your company.
- Job security.
- Work for limited hour.
- It has no risk because you have no money in the business.
- Have time to do other work related to your hobby and making money through it.
- Not affected by short term recession in market.
Three things to consider before starting your business:
1.Do you have enough start-up capital and a back-up income?
It takes money to make a money. We have enough funds to start a new business and marketing for the same. Also don't expect to make a large profit in early stage of your business.
2. Are you a self-moving person?
This is the quality that separates an employee and entrepreneur. If you are able to think of an idea and carry it out without any help from anyone then you may succeed in business. On the other hand, If you are not able to take business decisions then it is good to take a job.
3. Are you passionate about the business that you want to set up?
In order to be successful in your business you will have to work harder than an employee in someone else firm. You should have a spirit to achieve your goal and reach your organization at top in that field.
There is nothing wrong with your decision about to become an entrepreneur or doing job. There are some pros and cons for both the paths. It is depends on you that how you identify your ability and making the choice according to that. Many aspiring entrepreneurs choose to work for someone else for a few years to gain knowledge, contacts, and capital.
Whichever you decide, just make sure that the choice is the one that is right for you, not just the one that everyone wants to make.
